On March 3rd of 2021 I began driving from Lewisville to an RV event near Lafayette, LA. This trip was 430 miles and started in Dallas traffic after missing a turn on the freeway so I quickly became comfortable driving the rig in heavy traffic. I reached the RV park about 10 PM having driven both longer than planned and at night on my first drive.

The first stop was with an AIM (All Inclusive Motorhomes) rally at the Cajun Palms RV Park in Brieux Bridge.
We had a ride in a swamp boat and the driver stopped to feed his pet alligator. I had a great Cajun dinner in a famous little restaurant. And I visited a fiddle maker shop which was interesting. All fun!
