Clarksdale Mississippi is "ground zero" for the Blues.  Many of the famous blues musicians made this their home part of the time including Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Robert Johnson, B.B. King and others. In 2001 Morgan Freeman founded the Ground Zero Blues Club in an old cotton gin adjacent to the Delta Blues Museum.  Good catfish and two pool tables!
